WeatherWoo! is a next generation weather, travel, and lifestyle company which is changing the way people think about the weather.
Why did you create WeatherWoo!?
It all started when one of our founders was headed off to a big college football game. Due to the poor user experience at one of the major weather sites, he found himself sitting at the game in 80 degree weather with a coat and snow boots! I'm sure you all have similar stories. Weather affects every decison in our lives. We created WeatherWoo! to make those decisions easy and fun.
Where do you get the weather data and forecasts from?
Our current weather is taken from Yahoo Weather (provided by The Weather Channel, a leading private weather company). Forecasts are supplied by The National Weather Service (NWS), a component of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The National Weather Service provides weather, hydrologic, and climate forecasts and warnings for the United States, its territories, adjacent waters and ocean areas, for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the national economy.
I don't live in the United States. Can I use your site?
We currently only support locations in the United States. We will be adding major international cities shortly, please stay tuned for updates.
Who should I contact if I have a question about an event, activity, or ticketing linked on WeatherWoo?
We provide links to many unique customized experiences that will help our users take advantage of weather conditions. Any question you have about any event, listing, ticketing, or purchase made from these links should be directed to the third party, not WeatherWoo.
Where did you come up with the name?
Woo! is the excitement that you get when you check the weather and it's perfect for the day you have planned, whether it's a round of golf, a family barbeque, a day at the beach, or a weekend on the slopes.
